About
Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting surgery continues to be the most commonly performed cardiac surgical procedure and is an index operation for the specialty. However inspite of the excellent work done by many surgeons in our country in this area we do not have a standing in the international arena due to lack of scientific data publications. We felt the need for a dedicated Academic Body for coronary surgery where the focus will be on science and database.
This thought has crystallized and the Society of Coronary Surgeons was founded in August 2020, The Society of Coronary Surgeons is an organization constituted by surgeons who have a keen interest in surgical management of coronary artery disease.
